Let’s start with the fact that you should run company profiles wherever you expect to meet our potential clients. For the company, having a company fan page is not so much a choice as it is almost a “sacred duty”. Although, before setting up a business profile, it is worth checking whether Facebook is used at all by our target group, i.e. the group to which we target our product. If we address our offer to people aged 65+, we probably won’t find them in social media. However, if our customers include the so-called millennials, it is worth taking advantage of this fact. The implementation of thoughtful communication will allow you to attract a wider group of potential customers. When running a fan page, it is worth taking care of, among others for visual consistency, regularity of posts or creating special promotional campaigns for fans. By the way, it should be remembered that Facebook itself will not do everything for us, so it is important that our company appears on, for example, LinkedIn or Instagram. In this way, we will start building a favorable image of our brand, but here’s a small catch – our company posts should look different on FB, on Instagram, and on LinkedIn. The specificity of social media varies, and when planning an entry, you should take into account what people gather around such a medium and what their expectations are. If our business is based on selling goods, it would be a good idea to encourage visitors to subscribe to news. Such news can then encourage customers with various types of promotions, discounts, etc. The same scheme can be applied to most types of business.
